SHORT TERM GOALS

  1. To conduct regular CDE programs and courses to keep updated about the latest treatment modalities every year.
  2. To conduct monthly training for our students in using the Cephalometric software for doing the various cephalometric analyses.
  3. To actively participate in School Dental Camps and conduct regular screening to identify developing malocclusions and carry out their early corrections.
  4. To encourage students to actively participate in at least two research activities every year and help them with their publications in indexed journals.

LONG TERM GOALS

  1. To strive hard to make the department the most sort after treatment centres for the correction of skeletal malocclusions using Bone Screws and TADS by 2024.
  2. Digitalisation of the department using Intra Oral Scanner and 3D printer for the treatment of mild to moderate mal-occlusions using In-house aligners.
  3. To adopt a school nearby for the management of different orthodontic treatment needs for all the students.

SPECIAL CLINIC

The department is equipped with the latest ORTHODONTIC MINI SCREWS and BONE SCREWS for the treatment of skeletal malocclusions.

A separate well-furnished room is kept exclusively for doing bone screw cases.

  1. To make the department a Referral Centre for the treatment of complex skeletal malocclusions using bone screws
  2. To enable the department to  practice completely Digital Orthodontics using the latest intra-oral scanners, 3d printers, digital treatment planning for better patient education, etc
