Dr. Prasanth PS is an accomplished orthodontist, academician and clinician with nearly two decades of dedicated experience in orthodontics. He has been associated with Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences since 2007, where he currently serves as Head of the Department of Orthodontics.

He has maintained an exclusive orthodontic practice in Ernakulam since 2006, with extensive clinical experience in comprehensive orthodontic care and contemporary orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Prasanth has been an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Orthodontic Society (IOS) since 2024, currently serving his second term. He is also a Past Convenor of the Kerala Orthodontic Study Group and the Cochin Orthodontic Study Group.

His academic contributions include numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his commitment to research, evidence-based orthodontics and academic advancement.

His professional leadership extends to the Indian Dental Association (IDA), Kochi Branch, where he currently serves as an Executive Committee Member and State Representative. He has also previously served as CDE Chairman, IDA Kochi.

His professional interests include contemporary orthodontics, clear aligner therapy, digital orthodontics, temporary anchorage devices and evidence-based orthodontic practice.
